XenoBar

Do you find pop-up ads annoying? Don't you hate it when your browser pops up a new window the moment you close the previous one? Have you ever clicked on a link that appeared to be absolutely safe only to find yourself entrapped with tons of ads and new windows popping up all over the place, sometimes to the point where you have to turn off your computer?

Let XenoBar put you in control. XenoBar is an Internet Explorer toolbar which lets you decide if you want to see pop-ups and ads in new browser windows.

Monitor or totally suppress the opening of pop-up and console windows (these are windows which open automatically via scripting embedded in HTML documents)

New version 1.10 introduces in-place navigation - you can cause links which normally open in a new window to open in your current browser window

Also new in version 1.10 - you can override the destination window of any clickable link by using Shift, Control and Alt keys when clicking, to open it in a new window, top-level frame of current bowser window (break out of frames), or its containing frame, respectively

Suppress the mouse-over messages in the status bar - the true destination URL is always shown

See at a glance a "content quality rating" for each page, calculated for each document according to the preferences you set.
