Mimic

Mimic allows you to backup (or mirror) your important data files to any auxiliary drive attached to your system or your network. By setting the default configuration, you can mirror hidden, system, sub folders and more, to one or multiple destinations. Mimic can be set to perform it's mirroring operation at certain intervals throughout the day or at specific times during the day. Once Mimic is configured to backup your files, you simply place it in your startup folder and let it run whenever you start your computer??

Mimic makes your most recent backup, your current backup.

Mimic is not intended to backup complete systems, its primary use is to backup data files that would be irreplaceable should a disaster occur. Drive partitions are useable, however, a drive crash could render the mirrored files unrecoverable. Mimic is best utilized with a separate storage device such as a physical secondary drive, removable drives (zip, jaz, etc...), network drives and floppy drves.
