MacDetective

MacDetective is a smaller, powerful keystroke logging application for the Macintosh! MacDetective is one of the only working applications available for the Macintosh that allows you to record discreetly all keystrokes typed on your Macintosh. MacDetective works in the background and captures all keys pressed for you to view at a later date. Keystroke Monitoring - Track all keystrokes pressed - bar none. If a keystroke is pressed, MacDetective will secretly record it and save it to a hidden log file for you to view at a later date.

Application Tracking - MacDetective makes it easy for you to find out where exactly a keystroke was pressed. Whenever a keystroke is typed, MacDetective will record the application that was in use that received the keystroke!

Time/Date Tracking - For extra precision, MacDetective allows you to pinpoint the exact time a window received a keystroke! Perfect for when you leave MacDetective running for days at a time and need to know when a specific keystroke was pressed!

Stealth Mode - MacDetective will run in stealth mode, preventing users from knowing it is active. It will NOT show under "About This Computer..." screen, the Task list, or the Application menu!

Customizable Data Directory - Select a directory where your discrete daily MacDetective log files will be stored.

Data Directory Concealment - For maximum protection, MacDetective allows you to "hide" the directory you selected to store your MacDetective log files. This makes it nearly impossible for other to accidentally come across your log files!

Automatic Startup - MacDetective will launch itself each and everytime you bootup your Macintosh.

Automatic Active Startup - Configure MacDetective to start recording keystrokes each time it is started.

Password Protection - MacDetective is password protected to prevent others from starting/stopping the keystroke recording process.

Selectable Log Viewer - Select which text editor you wish to use to display your recorded MacDetective keystroke logs
